AWARDS 2009
There were some great people at the awards and
the most special were the winners themselves.
Jordan Powell, Valerie Okoampah, Mollie Millard, Tom Fryers, Jacobi
Caudwell, Cameron Millard, Hemi Poulton, McAyla Johnston and Lyndon Longhorne.
10 Downing Street and Westminster
Abbey
We had a wonderful time organised by the WOMAN'S OWN magazine. We started
the day by attending 10 Downing Street where we met Gorden Brown and Alistar Darling. We were looked after by Maggie Darling,
Mr Darlings wife and she was so great at talking to all the winners, such a lovely woman you could not have met.
We had a tour round Downing street, which is sooooooooooooooooooooo big inside and we even got to sit in some really expensive
chairs. We would like to thank No 10 for all they did for us in the morning.
Then we were taken to Westminster
Abbey for the prize giving, wow it was like being a celeb with all the cameras and personalities turning up. The award was
handed out by Peter Andre, who is so coooooooooooooooool. The service was very moving and The Soldiers sang a song which was
so heart warming and they sang it very well in such a fantastic place. We then had time to speak to Peter Andre and have some
photos taken with him after which we went to speak to other celebrities who had attended the service. There were so many of
them and I got to have a picture taken with Jedward and Sinita and loads of others. It was very special.
HOUSE OF LORDS
We then attended
the House of Lords for Lunch, and this was very special, all the celebs were there, we had loads sat at our table and they
just spoke to us, they are all very lovely people, I had pictures taken with loads of celebs who were so nice to everyone
on the day. It was such a special day for every winner and what was the best part?................well the WHOLE DAY !.
